Peter Alexander Introduces Plus Size!

Sunday, 10 April 2016

Today I'm at home in bed sick and sniffly wearing the comfiest PJ's I own. I exclusively wear Peter Alexander pyjamas because they're comfy, affordable and so damn adorable! I had heard that PA would be introducing a plus size range but didn't know any more than that. This morning after sneezing about 47 times in a row then scrolling through Instagram, I saw it. The confirmation. The plus size range was on the shelves! YAAASSS!

I am absolutely LIVING for this photoshoot! The styling is great (as usual) and I'm loving most of the pieces they have on offer so far.
I have told many, MANY plus size girl to not rule out Peter Alexander's regular range because it is often extremely accommodating. Their regular range goes up to a XL and sometimes XXL which can sometimes fit up to a sz 22 to 24. It just depends on the fabric and cut. I'm a MASSIVE fan of their 'waffle' pants and t-shirt style nighties and when I was a size 20 to 22 I would still be able to wear the XL comfortably, so don't rule out the straight sizes, OK! This new plus size range is going up to a sz 24 and I'm positive that if you're a larger size than that, the same thing will apply for you. Suss out the cut and fabric and I'm sure there will be options for you within this range too.

Some of my faves from the collection...

P.A. PLUS CHECK FLANNELETTE LEGWARMER PJ PANT

P.A. PLUS PRETTY IN PEONY PJ SET

P.A PLUS GREY MARLE LEGGING

P.A. PLUS BUFFALO CHECK FLANNELETTE PJ SET

P.A. PLUS GREY CHECK FLANNELETTE NIGHTSHIRT

P.A. PLUS LATTICE FLORAL HAREM PJ PANT

While I'm super excited about the new range, its kind of bittersweet for me. I can fit into even more stuff if their straight size range now, but my lil baby belly is slowly growing so I can't really buy much that isn't maternity wear. Let me live vicariously through you all with this collection until this baby comes out and I can start shopping at PA again haha

Wishing For Swimwear

Sunday, 17 January 2016

In my previous post I mentioned my annoyance at swimwear and how it doesn't usually meet the requirements I need met. To be fair though whenever I have needed swimwear it's pretty much the day before I need it, so I have to run around to the shops and search for something, ANYTHING that just fits. I've never thought about buying bathers online because I've never really needed them often enough to spend more than $20 on it. Recently though, I signed up to a gym mostly because of the pool access, so I'm going to need to invest in some bathers that don't look old. I posted a photo to instagram of me in my bathers before a pool sesh and it's noticeable that the tankini is getting a bit loose. When I got in the pool it just started floating up and up... AWKWARD. So now I've discovered that its slim pickin's for my current swimwear choices because my old bathers are too big! It's still not something I can spend much money on because of my situation right now and priorities, but a girl can window shop and dream right?

Since discovering I only have 2 things I can wear to the pool, I started compiling a swimwear wishlist. I thought it would be hard to find things I liked even online, but it looks like I had no problem haha

1. Capriosca - Twist Front Bandeau
2. Capriosca - Jade Swimsuit
3. Capriosca - Frilled Tankini Top

1. Capriosca - High Neck Crop Top & Bottoms (Chlorine Resistant)
2. Capriosca - Underwire Tankini Top - Black Retro Check Swimsuit
3. Capriosca - High Neck Crop Top Waves Swimsuit (Chlorine Resistant)

Swimsuits For All

1. GabiFresh for Swim Sexy - The Countess Underwire Swimsuit
2. GabiFresh - The Tsarina Underwire Bikini

2. Swim Sexy - Blue Tiger Bandeau/Halter High Waist Bikini
3. Tropiculture - Striped Underwire Swimsuit

These are my top picks. Most of the ones I chose have underwire and supportive straps and the others I chose because they're so cute even if they wont help me at all haha

Do you have any fave places to shop for bathers?

Empress Eleven Leopard Obsession

Saturday, 9 January 2016

I recently came across this amazing Australian Plus Size brand called Empress Eleven while scrolling through Instagram and I am OBSESSED!

Seeing as I haven't got a job and all our money is going to saving for a house, I haven't been able to buy new clothes. I've been online window shopping a lot lately and compiling wishlists for when I can finally start getting new things because the weight loss is already kicking in with my wardrobe and I have to get rid of a few things because they don't fit me anymore. You heard right! 15kg down and stuff is already hanging off me! I was not expecting that to happen so quickly haha

What reeled me right in was their leopard print items. I am such a sucker for leopard print and red together so my mind began racing with ideas for potential outfit options. Heres my first ever attempt at making a wishlist collage type thing!

Sweet lord these pants are the bombbbbb! I need them on my body ASAP!
